An example of Congress having superior power over the president is, when the president wants a law to be passed. The law must be introduced to congress for approval, in other words, the congress gets to make the final decision on the law. When the constitution was established the founding fathers were on edge to hand over so much power to one individual. Mainly due the fact, dictatorship is the outcome of having power over people. The founding fathers knew they needed a leader for the people, therefore they established presidency, but they created the presidency role to have many restrictions. Due to the fact, America's goals and objectives need to be prioritized. I agree that America’s goal in fact need to be prioritized, but by having one single person in charge of so many goals is impossible. For example, Barack Obama the former president was expected of so much from the people and from political activists that wanted his job. Things Obama could not achieve while in presidency was reducing taxes, fixing the unemployment rate, and reducing military enforces in the Middle East. When Obama left the office he was bashed by President Trump and other activist for the mess he left behind. Obama should have not been blamed for this, because for every issues he left behind he could not finish due to not having the power. Being the President means al decisions are passed down from Congress for a input and then a guidance to the world of the president's opinion. With so many issue happening in the U.S and non U.S issues, I’m surprised Obama had time to spend with his family. Obama still prioritized the items he did not finish, he just did not meet the goal people expected him off. All the good Obama did do is still going noticed to this day, but people have not forgotten what Obama could not achieve. Overall, from the past
