Dear Bloomberg,
My name is Andrew Groveman, and I am writing in regards to the 2014 Financial Product Sales and Analytics Internship Program. I was excited to discover that Bloomberg is looking for interns, and I believe that I am a strong candidate for this position. Interning at Bloomberg perfectly aligns with my academic and professional interests. I believe that my education and abilities can be applied for our mutual benefit.
I am current Junior at Tulane University, and plan to graduate from the A. B. Freeman School of Business with a Bachelor of Science in Management. I am pursuing a finance major and an energy minor, and I have a 3.7 Major GPA. I was most recently employed at Besen and Associates where I worked in commercial and residential real estate. Previously, I have worked for Apco Merchant Services as a sales consultant.
I believe I am a great match for a summer internship at Bloomberg for three reasons. First of all, no one will work harder for your company. I am a very competitive and ambitious person, and I want to be the best at whatever I do. Secondly, I have strong communication skills. My communication skills can be used in sales, networking, and office morale. Finally, I am highly interested in learning more about finance. Finance appeals to me because it offers motivated individuals the chance to work with a team to achieve consistent success. I enjoy being challenged, and finance offers a great opportunity to work with some incredibly bright people. I would love to get the chance to learn from some of the best in the business at Bloomberg. I believe I can use my work ethic, personal skills, and ambition to help grow Bloomberg.
