Dallas Cowboys Marketing Strategy
In the sports franchises industry, there are many factors that contribute to the success of marketing practices. However, the three most important ones that will be discussed here are successful budgeting, keeping up with the competition, and expanding the target audience. These three factors appear to be the most important when it comes to the two teams to be examined here, the Dallas Cowboys and the New York Yankees.
The first factor to be discussed here is budgeting. Sports franchises may allocate a certain amount of money on building new facilities, advertising on television, and/or broadcasting media, but budgeting becomes the most important when it comes to the individuals, or players, that make up the team itself. Without a doubt, the best marketing strategy a sports franchise can have is doing everything they can within reason to have a winning team. This is because winning teams draw more people in, which is about as obvious as saying the sky is blue. All sports franchises have this strategy at the forefront, but budgeting is a huge aspect of this, especially in the National Football League (NFL) where the Dallas Cowboys play.
