Dear Future Me
Dear future ‘me’
Dear future me, I don’t know you well, not yet anyway, but I hope you will be just like the person I imagine in my dreams. For you I have many dreams… more than I can count.
One of my biggest dreams is for you to live a life full of joy, hope, love, laughter, happiness, peace, kindness, goodness and faithfulness.
May you keep on walking the everlasting path with Jesus and may you influence others to go along with you.
The present me knows that there will be difficulties along the way, but I also hope that in the future I would have learnt enough so that the future me can take all those things head on.
Knowing that the future me will most probably be living my present dreams is quite exciting…

Dear future me in a year - I dream/pray that you will learn how to be able to enjoy life to the fullest. Live is in fact only once and you do not get to do it over. I’ve got a picture of the future me, but I hope you will exceed all expectations.

Dear future me in probably 5 years – I dream/pray that you will have completed your studies and that you would be qualified… as what, I’m not currently sure, but by this time you would already have made up your mind (I mean “I” would have).

Dear future me in probably 6 years – I dream/pray that you will meet a great guy that loves Jesus, someone who can guide you, whom is loving, caring someone you can laugh with, share all your secrets with, make new dreams with and most importantly someone with whom you can praise the Lord and be able to grow together according to His will.

Dear future me after the 6 years – I dream/pray that you will have found that amazing guy, be married to him, live in (my) dream house, not to big nor to small, I also hope that God will bless you with children to so that they can bring joy in both you and your husband’s life. I dream that you will keep that special bond with your family forever!

God has already written down every single detail of my life and I’m so

My future? Considering that I once came to this school and act so immaturely inside as well as outside of class. I believe that I have changed since then. We had it planned; college, careers, lifestyles, and yes, love. Love, the one dream we did not share. I remember the conversation as we strolled along our normal path. I detailed my plans for my future love. My “knight in shining armor” story and explained how he would arrive, and we would have a magical connection. He would love me completely and together we would ride off into the…

When you look at the future, where do you see yourself? Because we can't tell where we are going. Only that it's that way, and we can't go back. But we can look back. We'll still remember everything we did here. All the friends we've made, the things we've done. Everything. And we will carry all of that through our lives. We can look back on the days where we have just sat on the grass in the sun, talking to our friends. Having the strangest conversations that even today don’t make sense. Three years we've spent at the same school, walking the same halls. Three years worth of new friends, new faces, and new people. New people that have become my best friends. And with those people we have had experiences that we will never forget. We will remember all the places we’ve sat at and the conversations we've had there.…

Life is unexpected. As Eli Khamarov said, “the best things in life are unexpected—because there were no expectations.” As human nature, we are always looking forward, planning for the future, leaving nothing to the unexpected, instead of just living in the moment and no imagining the next steps we take. Now, this wouldn’t be much of an essay if I said I haven’t imagined my future. So, as I step out into the world, where do I see myself in ten years, as a twenty-eight-year-old? Honestly, I have no idea! Instead of thinking of where I would like to be in ten years, I thought of what I would like my life to be during the next ten years. Below I have listed twenty-eight of the infinite amounts of goals and dreams I hope to accomplish, the qualities I hope to gain or keep, or just those small, unexpected parts of life that should be appreciated more—those moments I would be lucky to enjoy over the next ten years.…

There is no telling what the future holds for us, the world and its people are ever-changing. For example, the author reads “and all of this will come true unless we choose to reverse it.” Humans hold the key to the future, if should we shy away from our families in an effort to find happiness in money, that is when we will see our own self destruction. Also, readers hear “family is more important than work” in an upbeat tempo in the music and a hopeful tone of voice.…

Ahead is a new journey, not only for me but for all of us. And what I have to say to that, “Challenge accepted.” I can only imagine the way my parents are going to feel watching me grow up more and more and having to let go little by little each day but even then my imagination cannot comparable to the feelings they feel. Even then, I willingly accept this new chapter of my life which I wouldn’t have been able to reach without every single one of you. No matter how small to how big of an impact you’ve had in my life, I thank you all equally.…
