They had the time of their lives that day; the midnight snacks and the morning they scared all Georgie’s brothers. Diana had especially enjoyed scaring her oldest brother Eric who had teased Diana since Second Grade. She chuckled at all the memories. Diana turned back to her laptop and stared at the last line in ‘Hilary’, her latest Play Script and sat there for a moment. It was time for the Act II but the words hadn’t been coming. The road could be seen now and a pick up passed by when she was at the edge of it. She took a step back to be cautious then looked left and right before she walked across. Abbey Wood was painted on a small arrow sign, pointing in the direction of the small snowy path that wiggled through it. It was a great source for outdoor exercise and a beautiful place for inspiration. Maybe she wouldn’t feel so dull once she got back. Abbey Wood Farm wasn’t too far from here. She was tempted to visit there since she hadn’t seen her brother and his wife in so long, but it wasn’t the most convenient day for them. They both worked shifts so the farm was often supervised by Jonny Woodland who boarded in the in-law suite. Diana had never agreed with that scenario, but then again, Shawn had never been one for responsibility. He’d often gotten himself into trouble as a young man. Diana remembered the time he had come home in the middle of the night right around the same time she had gone to the kitchen for a glass of water. Shawn had tripped onto the couch and thrown up on the wood flooring their dad had just put
