Disco Concert Narrative
My heart was pounding as I begged my mom to buy me two tickets to the Panic! At The Disco concert. “I’ll do anything! I’ll pay you back, I’ll babysit, ANYTHING!” Finally, my mom said yes and ordered the tickets. My face lit up with joy and I smiled ear to ear. I get to go to my first concert.
Just walking into the theater Belle and I were freaking out.
“We’ll be seeing our favorite band in less than 10 minutes!” We were more excited than a dog getting a treat! Finally, the concert started. The way this concert work was there was an opening band/ show, which happened to be “Into The Wilderness” then Panic! At the Disco played, then Weezer. It was really 3 concerts for the price of one. They all went on tour together which made the whole show almost 3 hours long! The amount of excitement I had was hard to contain.

but on the outside, I just had a slight smile on my face. We were in the middle row of the bleachers, so we had the perfect view of the bands. Our faces lit up with a bright glow, like the sun bursting through the clouds on a summer’s day. Belle and I were so surprised about how good our seats actually were. It couldn’t have gone any better. The music blasted, the fans were screaming, the bass sent vibrations that shook the whole stadium. The songs were so much better live. Better than I ever imagined. Suddenly, my favorite song started. I turned and looked at Belle, and we both lost it. We were screaming, singing, dancing and overall being two complete weirdos. Belles parents looked at us like we were crazy, the people around us thought we were going nuts, but we didn’t care. This was a really big deal for the both of

My initial reaction was certainly less than satisfied when my best friend told me that she got us tickets to see Blue Man Group for my birthday. I remembered a discussion we had had a few months prior when we spoke avidly about how our parents always made references to something called “the blue man group” as we were growing up, and that we still to that day had no idea what it was or why it was being referenced in the first place. Though still not completely convinced, I bit my tongue, thanked my friend for the gesture, told her I could not wait to see the show, and calmed myself with the thought that at least finally, my questions of the smurph band would be answered.…

For me, this concert was a once in a lifetime opportunity. I have been listening to this band ever since I was little and watching their concerts on DVD with my dad who really loves rock ‘n’ roll music. My dad has had a huge impression on me when it comes to music because he is such a huge fan of any type of rock music. When I saw that ACDC was going to be in San Diego, I could not pass up the opportunity because this could be one of their last tours. I had high expectations because I have seen many of their concerts and have witnessed how hard they rock out when performing, and I was definitely not let down.…

With sweat drenching their bodies and taking deep gulps for air, five young men sling their arms over each other’s shoulders and take their final bow. The crowd’s cheers erupt into shrieks and tears; for they have just witnessed the boy band One Direction perform live in concert. My screams too, can be heard throughout my house as I watch this video on YouTube vowing to myself that one day I will see One Direction in concert. I make this promise to myself, as my screams then morph into tears of joy and longing as the members of One Direction exit the stage.…

The night was perfect and the crowd was friendly with a diverse group of all ages old and young. Crowds of people filled the parking lot with sounds of Kid Rock blasting through car speakers and people enjoying their pre-show cocktails. Outside the venue Kid's cars were roped off for fans to check out and take photos. Entering DTE you could smell the aroma of Clarkston's own Union Station Restaurants famous mac and cheese and the Woodshop Resaurants barbeque. As we made our way toward the concert area the local Shriner's were selling Kid Rock/Shriners t-shirts with the proceeds going the organization. I really thought it was great that Kid was utilizing local buisness owners and charities during these hometown shows as well as the low dough show he was offering!…

I had departed early on Thursday for my descent back to the cold chilly city of Pittsburgh. During the day, my friend who attends Duquesne University in downtown invited me to a night on the town with her and her friends to go to the 3Lau concert at Club Diesel. Usually the club is over 21 on every night, but Thursday’s are different you only have to be 18 years of age or older. Whenever she announced that 3Lau would be performing there, I became too enthusiastic and eager. I had witnessed them once before and they were remarkable, so I immediately agreed to go with them.…

Compared to all the other concerts that I have gone to, that concert was a change in the atmosphere. I remember last month going to my sister’s Jazz concert. I remember walking in the theater a little bit late, but remember hearing the sound of the trumpets in the background. As soon as I walked in, I realized that it has totally different atmosphere from what my expectations were for the Jazz concerts. Unlike all the other concerts I attended, this concert intended for small audience, probably around a hundred people. Also, this jazz concert seemed very relaxed and comfortable. Most of people were dressed very casual, a lot of them were the kid’s parents and they were wearing jeans and shirts. But the musicians were dressed in suit and dress in all black. I remember that in a…

Attending a Jazz concert was something new to me. The concert that I attended was at the University of Redlands School of Music. The performing band was called Studio Big Band and was under the direction of David Scott. It was held in the Casa Loma Room which was large and had the ability to hold many excited music lovers. It started at 8pm and was about an hour long. Since this was my first jazz concert, I wasn’t sure was to expect. This was a new experience for me and my family. It was very different from the usual rock concerts that I had previously attended. The purpose of this concert was to give a kind of a homecoming…

I went straight back to practicing because the concert would come to me in a blink of an eye. My heard was beating so hard it felt like someone was pounding hammer on my chest, I was shaking, sweating, disey, everything you could possibly imagine I felt like I was about to faint. Guitar has been one of they most important things in my life since I first started at age 6 and it just started to come naturally. I was doing great while practicing and had finally nailed every song I played. Playing up on this stage with this band would soon decide my future, if I fail I could never get this chance again and if I do good I could soon be playing all the time, my dream would come true. I had always had my own band with my friends since a young age and we were good but had never played on a stage, and if I were to do good at the concert my band also could start to become…

We had been setting up the stage and the audio all week but on the first day of the concert we starting setting up chairs around 3:00 because the doors opened up at 4:30. The stadium started to get full and all of the ground seats were taken. I could see cameras and local radio personalities such as Melissa “Wade in the Water” and Jerry Smith of 103.9 The Light and I'm not a shy person so I definitely introduced myself. They were so nice and Ms. Wade even let me walk around with her for a while while she met with different entertainers for the night. What was different about this is that is wasn't just the big named gospel singers that were performing but there were church groups and small choirs and this one mime team that caught my attention in particular called Face 2 Face. I gravitated toward them for one, because I mime myself and two, is that they were extremely powerful dancers at only the age of eleven. Jordan, the male of the duo gave me a poster of the two of them and I asked him for his autograph and the female of the duo, his cousin jumped in said sassily “I'll sign it for you” and I chuckled. They were definitely one of my favorites performers that night.…
