Do You Believe That Women Work In The Sex Industry

1. List the various occupations for women, men and children in the sex industry: Some of the occupations of sex industry they are, Internet pornography, phone sex, nudes, table dance, prostitution or sex workers.

2. Do you believe that women work in the sex industry by “choice”? Why or why not? This can be a percentage that women that worked in the sex industry is by their own choice, but in the most part women are in this industry based on the high rate of poverty on this people.

3. What is your opinion of women who work in the sex industry? What influenced you to have this opinion (gender, religion, culture, education etc..) My opinion on women who work in sex industry is that I don’t believed that is 100% wrong or right to see women
DO you think sex work should be legal? Why or why not. I would say yes it should be legal, because is a way to controlled this situation and preventing people to be force to work in sex industry. In some cases women are force to practice this type of jobs or they don’t take care of them self, so by let them work legally they need to past some type of test, mental, and physical so the government can prevent any type of diseases.

5. If you believe that sex work should be legal, under what conditions and standards? Sex work should be legal under the conditions that the person who want to work in sex industry need to past some type of test, it can be mental and physical test, and they need to be old enough to practice this type of jobs. I can say they need to be at least 25 years old and be register with the City or the State. Also to avoid any type of diseases they need to be check every month, so they can know if that person is safe to working in this type of job.

6. What, if any problems do you for see in making sex work legal? The problem of making sex work legal would be that the majority of the community is going to be against this law. Because religion is against on this type of situation and by legal sex work it could be a huge problem for families or the people who sees sex as a bad thing to
Do you think sex workers should have unions, why or why not? Yes sex workers should need to have unions because is a way con control and manage this type of jobs. It can be so helpful to not only the sex workers but also to the community so they can be protected and control any type of problem. Referring to the time when the law get pass, this sex workers can have their rights protected by organization and State.

8. Do you think there should be a minimum wage for sex workers? I believed sex workers should have a minimum wage, because is an easy way to control this jobs like this. Companies can manage and create jobs for people that want to work in sex industry.

City/state/national government? Why or why not. Yes because how I explain in some of the questions it will help people who want to work in sex industry to have some type of legal rights and be able to be protected by the government.
