Dot Affirmative Assistant Case Study
Dot has two candidates Kay .G. Ray and Warren buffer to chose from for the clinical data supervisor’s position. Dot also has to keep in mind the affirmative action programs provisions. Under this program, the hospital should promote two women into supervisory positions for each male selected. Affirmative action programs are systematic human resource plans that outline goals for hiring, training, promoting and compensating women and minority groups as per the Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO).
To justify not making the affirmative action selection, Dot should be able to prove that she could not find qualified female candidates for the position. The office of federal contract compliance program monitors and ensures compliance among contractors
