“It’s not shallow practice, its not mindlessly sprinting up and down the hardwood, nor it it obsessing over impractical goals”. This quote by Glenn expresses his agreeing views, along with his understanding of what Duckworth is trying to get across to people. He also agrees with the way school systems try to incorporate this theory into everyday life and learning, which would be beneficial to children that want to reach their goals. You can not undergo crazy tasks that could potentially hurt you mentally and or physically for long periods of time. How can something that already exists (perseverance and passion) combine to make a whole different concept or idea just added by time? Perseverance and passion already exist and can be combined to make a person strong and determined, but grit is just another way of looking at it. Two definitions and ideas that exist to make a new one is just rubbish. For people that do believe in it, I hope they pursue anything they set their heart and mind to, but for the others that don’t, I hope they also reach the goals they want to
