Three sources that I would use would be: • www.gov.co.uk • ACAS (Advisory, Conciliation and Arbitration Service) • Policies and Procedures used at own company.

Aii a) List three aspects of employment covered by law.

Every aspect of employment is covered by law. The first of any form of employment needs is a contract; an employee must have a contact of employment. • Discrimination • Health and safety • Disciplinary procedures

Aii b) List three main features of current employment legislation.

The spectrum of employment law in the UK covers three main areas. • Employment Rights, • Equalities and Discrimination law. • Health and safety legislation.

Aiii Briefly outline why employment law exists.
