that grade it my paper. I was having peers around me make sure that my paper was complete and check for grammatical errors, which was not a smart idea. I figure since my peers knew English and realized an A in the class. I learning that I had to have a professional to check my paper, helping me realized in B on my paper.
Throughout the class, I learn that I need to reread my paper before I turn them in. Maybe next time I will go to the academic center to have one of the students read my paper to see if I have any errors. They will help me understand my errors and see why I keep making the same errors over and over again. If I was to take English over again I would not wait to the last minute to do an assignment or I will actually do the reading.
The advice that I will give to an income English 101 student is if you do not understand the information make sure you ask someone.
It is very important that you understand the assignment and know what your professor is asking you do to. Another helpful advice I will give to someone is to read the reading that Mrs.Lui gives you. Sometimes you might think that they are long and not useful to your learning but they will help you when it times for you to cite reading in your paper. Also, if you do not understand what the reading is talking about make sure to ask your teacher and listen to the class discussion when the class is going over the reads. My last advice for an income freshman is to pre-planned your paper because you do not want to wait to the last minute trying to come up with something quick and not be fully prepared when it’s time for peer
review.
