Lack of Focusing
First Generation students has tendency’s these tendencies are staying focus, being productive and focusing. These are the main points they study on. With these keys they have been a little less lien tent on their success. They have been a little less focus on each point by reeling on their goals. Struggle issues
First Generation students are less accountable to the consistency of their work.
Because of this they sometimes get off to a slow start referring to their work. Their barriers such as their lack of experience to college because they are the first to attend college in their family. Is what sometimes holds them back from a variety of opportunities? It’s been roughly about a small number of first generation students that are on the virga of pursing there college degree. That has been a major down fall on their education and their efficiency.
Limit of Options
First Generation students are very delegation. Having a lower gap and being less prepared than others has been a struggle for first generation students. This has resulted into other options for first generation students. For instance staying on time attending college longer to graduate is what they are less prepared for. Education can also be a problem for first generation minority students that resulted into obligations. Maintain is one of the first gen students biggest issues that relate to their lack of observing, taking notes, and staying on task.
Conclusion
My thoughts on this is first generation students are very dedicated in terms of the work ethic. My other thoughts on this is that they work extremely hard to get to this point. For instance by graduating and staying focus each and every day. Which has impacted there success a lot. This has resulted into good achievements for them. Which is why they are where there at as far as in college.
