Every student at least once in the school year doesn't have the opportunity to get enough sleep and have time to wake up early in the morning for school. Starting school later means the child's brain would have enough time to be awake, functioning correctly, and be ready for learning. Late starts mean knowing your child has enough time to do homework and get plenty of sleep. Improving children's health and safety that most kids have on a regular day. There are many improvements that come out of starting school later. Have you ever noticed that children often come in late to school consequently, they didn't have much time to sleep? more than people think, especially for younger ages. Starting school late leads to unfair amounts of time to do homework and get enough amount of sleep. Extracurricular activities could not be an issue because those could be held on the weekends. Therefore, students would not have to worry about doing homework or not going to bed at a decent time. The child would have plenty of time to work on homework and study. This would not limit the amount of extra curricular activities they do because they could have a few hours after school plus the weekends. There would be time for the child to do everything they want to do. Nevertheless, health and safety standards would be improved, unlike most on a normal day.

More than half of licensed teens (56%) admit to having driven when feeling too tired to drive their best, and nearly one in ten teens report that they have completely fallen asleep at the wheel.”(School delay ) This improves mental health by giving children time to wake up. According to the same scholar “Insufficient sleep in teens is associated with obesity, migraines, and immune system disruption and with health risk behaviors, including smoking,drinking, stimulant abuse, physical fighting, physical inactivity, depression, and suicidal tendencies.”( School delay ) Improvement in children's health is greatly
needed. Starting school later can improve a lot with a student. It can improve grades and the attendance of a student. They will have fair time to do homework and get a good sleep. Lastly, it improves health and safety standards that most kids have on a regular day. This could really improve a kid's life.
