Do humans have the right to test on animals According to PETA, Each year, more than 100 million animals...are killed in U.S. laboratories for biology lessons, medical training, curiosity-driven experimentation, and chemical, drug, food, and cosmetics testing. scientists do animal testing so they can make sure that it works so that way they will not harm the person that they are using the product on or what ever they are going to do on the patient. Even though i think that it is not right to do that to the animals they should not give the patient something that may hurt them in any way. Humans do not have the right to right to do medical research on animals because animals can die and it causes animals to be in pain. …show more content…
Even if a product harms animals, it can still be marketed to
consumers. Conversely, just because a product was shown to be safe in animals
does not guarantee that it will be safe to use in humans. The united states spends
about 16 billion dollars on animal testing annually at taxpayers expense and is
subject to massive waste and mismanagement of taxpayers' dollars. Much of this
cruelty is supported by the National Institutes of Health (NIH), which allocates
40% of its annual research budget to animal experiments.
By testing on the animals they are always in pain. Animals are also used in
toxicity tests conducted as part of massive regulatory testing programs that are
often funded by U.S. taxpayers’ money. The environmental protection Agency, the
food and drug Administration, the National Toxicology Program, and the U.S.
Department of Agriculture are just a few of the government agencies that subject
animals to crude, painful tests. People acknowledges that Ohio State University:
$1.9 million for cruel heart attack experiments on dogs (never mind the fact that
humans live sedentary lives and have a lifestyle of KFC and McDonalds
