Year after year being involved in the soccer program at Lee’s Summit High School the coach says the same thing every year “You get out what you put in”. He said this to make the team run and work harder, but I think it applies to everything even middle and high school. Each student has the …show more content…
choice, they can get involved and make school fun, or they can have the “I’m too cool” attitude and end up hating their six years. Each student is encouraged to find what they are passionate about and then do achieve it, through a club or academics. Middle and high school are the place where each student gets to discover who they are and what they like from the freedom they are given compared to grade school. There is a spot for everyone everywhere, as long as the student is willing to find it.
One of the important things for each student to do to help them enjoy every passing second of their next six years of school is to support their school.
The only reason students find pep assemblies and cheering at games is because they are too afraid of what others are thinking of them. The best thing a student can do at games and pep assemblies is to go all out for their school, to cheer and yell to support their school. They will only go through these six years once might as well go all out. The other way for students to support their school is to support as many clubs as they can. They should go to all the games, the plays, the concerts, and the fundraiser events; these are there for students to enjoy. What better way to enjoy school than go to what the school offers each
student. All throughout life everyone always says “love what you are doing”, they are right, especially in middle and high school. The best way for students to enjoy every second of the next six years is for them to love what they do. Each students has required electives, they should take the ones they love to do. There is no point of going through school if every second isn’t enjoyed. Each student should find the friends they want to be around, take the classes they are interested in, and do what they enjoy doing. If school is seen as something everyone needs to suffer through, might as well enjoy it, because once those six years are up there isn’t anything left but to look back on all that was accomplished.
