Innocent
Good morning, my name is Jorge Riojas and it is my pleasure to represent Mr. Bruce Sauceda in this very important case. The defendant stands here falsely accused of 1st degree murder, a very serious crime against his own sister. At the end of this trial we will ask for your verdict of innocent. It is virtually impossible for my client to be responsible for the death of his own sister. On the day of February 19, 2016, my client made an emergency call because he found his sister on the floor with what appeared to him as stab wounds. If he were in fact the perpetrator of this horrendous act, do you really think he would be the one to call 911? Absolutely not, your honor! My client …show more content…
Mely Hernandez. Mrs., Hernandez how was the relationship with Mrs. Sauceda? In your statement you mentioned that Mr. Roy was a bit “odd” what did you refer by that? Why did you say that Mr. Roy was incapable of murdering Mrs. Sauceda? Thank you for your time. As you have now heard my client would be incapable of murdering his sister, and neither would Roy. So, who is the perp? Who is responsible for this horrendous crime you ask? The answer is, Humberto Ramirez! In his statement he said, and I quote “I never really hung out with Jill, but I know she would talk to several neighbors” he then said, that he “never really had much contact with Jill.” However, the text messages prove otherwise. The text message at 2:55 p.m. suggest that he and the victim where starting to frequent each other more, and possibly that they were even secretly dating. You can also observe that he was the last person to see Jill before the incident. He mentioned in his statement that he saw Jill taking out the trash in her work clothes, but the text messages prove that Mr. Ramirez saw the victim with her pajamas on. He even sends her a message saying that her “pjs looked awesome!” His whole statement is inconsistent with the hard proof that lies in the messages! He is the one that should be questioned; not my client. (Point at
