I was born in Texas, but later moved to Pennsylvania when I was four years old. My family and I stayed there until I was in sixth grade at the age of twelve. I mention this, because although I didn’t stay in Pennsylvania for long, that was where I was raised. Where I learned to ride my first bike, where I had my first best friend and my first crush. I was raised in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, not because it was where I was grew up, but because it was where I made my most noteworthy memories, it was the city that shaped me into the person I am today. I was blessed with a wonderful upbringing, thanks to my family. I had a sister to take after and to look up, someone to lend a helping hand when I was scared or unsure. I had a mother and father, who were strict yet fun, and stern but loving. They all taught me to work for what I wanted, and to treat others how I would in turn wish to be treated. My parents have been nothing but loving, supportive, and patient of me. Even when I think I know everything already, there are the best parents I could have hoped for. I remember the tall hills my sister and I would run up and skateboard down, the church three houses away from my own, and the pond filled with fish that lied at the opposite end of the neighborhood. However, what I remember most, is that every day, I would run outside, knock on a friend’s door, and together, we would go out and play. Whether that entailed playing in their backyard, riding our bikes around the neighborhood, or meeting up with other friends, we would always be either inside playing with toys, or outside with bikes and skip
