Explain The Six Major Components Of Health
There are six major components of health, and each one can be improve in various ways. The first component is physical health, which describes the way body functions. Physical health can be improved by eating right, getting regular exercise, and remaining at recommended body weight. The second component is emotional health, which requires that one expresses his/her emotions in a positive, nondestructive way. In order to improve this, one can find ways to cope with unpleasant emotions by talking to others, or he/she can practice controlling emotions and not let them get out of control. The third component is social health, which describes the quality of relationship one has with people around him/her. This aspect of health can be improved …show more content…

It’s not hard to realize that there are various types of abuses taking place around us everyday, and in order to prevent abuses, it’s crucial to know what an abusive person is like and different types of abuse. Abusive people usually share some common characteristics. They are usually controlling, obsessive, manipulative, selfish, aggressive, or needy. These characteristics can be reflected through daily lives; for instance, if a person is always trying to take advantage of people around him and never care about others’ feelings, he can be considered abusive. It’s very important to know the types of abuse in order to avoid them. The first type is child abuse, this is relatively frequent because children usually lack the knowledge required to protect themselves. Child abuses can occur in different ways including physical abuse, emotional abuse, sexual abuse and neglect. The second type of abuse is domestic violence, which describes the use of force to control and maintain power over a spouse in the home; an example of this is a violent husband beating his wife for disagreeing with

    If you are missing one of the six I think it affects the other areas of health. I see this with my son who has anxiety and panic attacks, when he has an attack then he is more likely to get sick like with a cold and then it takes him forever to feel his old self again, he says he is never really good.
