I am already involved in mostly all FFA activities and I am willing to do more. I am very dedicated to FFA and the program. Agriculture is my life and future and FFA is helping me expand my talents in many areas. I can make a difference on the chapter and its members by volunteering ideas, participating and including the members, helping others and the chapter, being a leader, staying involved, encouraging others to join and participate in FFA, and make the community aware of the FFA chapter’s events/accomplishments and to get them involved.…

During my first year as an FFA member, I got my Green Hand Degree, and received a Horticulture award for taking care of the greenhouse for my chapter. In addition to the flowers and small trees that were being grown, we were in the process of germinating bell peppers, peppers, jalapeños, onion, chives, pumpkin and strawberries. The culinary classes also grew spices in the green house and asked me to take care of them. I managed my extra-curricular activities, my 3.51 GPA and my class rank of 51. I have not taken the SAT/ACT yet. I am waiting closer to the end of the year to do so.…

FFA is something that I love. I have been in a leadership position for the last three years as a class officer, Washington County Junior Livestock Association officer and FFA officer. I believe my purpose in life is to serve others. Leaders must serve the needs of others rather than their own desires. One reason I wish to run for district office is to serve the FFA and its members. Agriculture is the backbone of our country. FFA and Agricutlure offer the opportunity to serve others. In every thing I do I make sure that the job is done correctly amd thoroughly. If you choose me to hold an officer position I promise I will not let you down. You may ask,"Why choose you over someone else?" I will work to the best of my ability and do all…

I have been in FFA for just one year now, but FFA has already made me want to inspire others just as they have inspired me. Although they may not have realized it, this year I looked up to some of our chapter officers. It was inspiring to know that when I needed their help or motivation they were always there for me, and I hope that someday someone will be able to look up to me like I have looked up to them. I hope I can inspire the in-coming freshmen to be active in FFA because in FFA you learn so many different things and they are all very beneficial to you.…

My conclusion, as I took this class my understanding of Christians has being a good outlook for me, in the way that God wants us to live. As I have outline about Jesus did not claim to be God, but he did state that I am the Fathers and Son. And if a person is a Christian, does it matter how they live their life, yes it does because they are suppose to be God leader in order to help others come to God. I feel a sense of pride and it warms my heart when I show the other members what FFA can do for them. I was selected as my school's FFA chapter president at the end of my sophomore year. Being president showed me a whole new side to being an FFA member. It gave me more responsibility and purpose. Sometimes when going to chapter events as the president, I found myself losing track of time. I became so captivated with the work in my chapter because I wanted to make it better for the generation that will come next. I learned being part of FFA and being part of any program in my high school help me improve myself to help those around me. This one motive made me lose all sense of…

Over the course of Quarter, I composed more than a few FRQs. Throughout my many in-class essays, I learned not only about rhetorical analysis, but also some tendencies I have as a writer. In all four of my essays, the most prominent trend I exemplified was a lack of focus on certain pieces of my analysis. Often, I would provide a strong analysis of certain evidence, but then would begin to stray from my original point. Occasionally, my sentences proved nothing, such as when I wrote that, “This major depiction of the two vastly different sides of the soldier’s lives makes the men seem more real and human”. Another pattern that was prevalent in my FRQs was writing one or two sentences that seemed clumsy or awkward to the reader. One such sentence…
