Describe your growth or lack of growth in your relationship with Christ since this past summer or the last time you worked at camp. Explain what things have helped or hindered your growth.
In some ways I have grown, since camp I feel like I have matured and am able to understand what I read from my Bible and delve deeper into it. I feel like as I grow older and have more experiences I am able to understand things better, and I am also not as afraid to ask questions when I do not understand something. However, I know that I do not spend as much time in The Word and with God as I should. It is something that I am aware of and am working on.

How did you work as a team member? How did you work in situations where responsibilities were delegated?
I believe I worked well as a team. I always tried to work well with the other staffers and to hear everyone’s input and try to make sure people who wanted to say something were able to speak. I enjoyed working with the rest of the staff and I learned how work even better with the other staffers as the summer went on and I learned how the other staffers communicated best, and expressed what they needed help with. I think one thing I learned from working as a team was that it’s important to be a good listener when you’re part of a team, and

For the last two summers I have been a Lifeguard and Assistant Cabin Leader. Though this is a great position it is not the one I felt called to when I was praying about where God wanted me this summer. It was really something I was wrestling with, but after much prayer I feel like God led me to apply as a Cabin Leader. I love spending time with the campers, getting to know them and form relationships with them and getting to see where they are in their walk with God. It is just an amazing thing to see. I want to be able to spend as much time with my Mother Daughter, GA, and Acteen campers as possible if I am

My team’s objectives were to raise the awareness of our charity, raise over £1000 and raise as much money as possible and to run successful events. We were given £100 to start our events and had to budget what we spent. We had to decide our individual roles before we started planning any of the events so we all knew what we had to do but this was a bit of a struggle as it was hard to define, in the early stages, who had what roles. However, our team was effective because we all helped each other with different tasks and then all began to found out our strengths and our weaknesses. We all listened to each other and try to make everyone in the team feel welcome and not make them feel left out. For example, When Sandie joined our group it was a while after the team was formed so she may have felt a bit left out but we all tried to make her feel welcome and she took on the role of being in charge of all the health and safety and risk assessments for the event.…

The best team that I have ever been associated with, was a team created at work called “The VA-CLC Nurses”. The team was created by a co-worker to run the 5k run in the honor of our fallen veterans. The results were very favorable considering the fact that we were able to recruit a lot of people to join and we all worked great together. The leader maximized the team’s strength by communicating to all of us on how to put our differences aside, and on how to come together for a greater cause than our own. She organized us into small groups depending on what duties needed to be done. Which included, uniform designers, transportation, also a person in each group to keep an eye out for our children on the team and a group to…

Relocation: I hope and pray that as I continue to grow through this course and focus on my responsibilities that come with the position I must be willing to give of myself whole-heartedly to accomplish the task of helping to lead people into all that God would desire them to be. I understand that apart from the Holy Spirit I will not be effective in this ministry. Rather, I must be completely submitted to the Spirit and His leadership in order to be effective as a faithful minister and pastor to lead the sheep entrusted to him.…

For this project, I am placing myself in a hypothetical context as a staff pastoral counselor at my home church in Valley City, ND, serving a congregation of approximately 200. I have chosen as my overarching goal for life to serve others in the capacity for which the Lord has gifted me and prepared me to counsel and minister to them. 1 Peter 4:9 tells us that, “Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.” I believe that serving in a counseling role is my gift, and that it is my calling to use that gift to serve others, and in doing so, to obey God.…

We have a lot to learn from one another, in terms of academic and business. To me, a good team player is one who contributes, is willing to take and act on criticism, believes in healthy debate and, once an agreement is reached, works towards it as a team member, irrespective of his or her personal stand. I also believe that we must play different roles in different work groups.…

As in all sectors teamwork is an important factor to any role. Within a school it is even more important to express a positive attitude towards teamwork as we must remember we are setting examples for the children on how we are all expected to behave, so by displaying teamwork and supporting our colleagues we are promoting demonstrating a mutual feeling of respect for others which children will learn is the acceptable way in which to behave both now and in the future. Working as part of a strong constructive team has many benefits not only to the staff but also the children. It is also important to know the roles of others you work with and who you are to liaise with for any technical or personal issue you may encounter.…

I was the prodigal daughter. Moreover, He continued to lead me towards Him. It was like I’d flown back into a cage of sin that had once held me with the false presumption that it would keep me safe, and God was leading me back out of the cage and into the freedom of His love. He lead me to drop out of college during my first year, and I did. Then He lead me to start attending another church, and I did - it was probably the most nerve-wracking of my journey, but I did. At this point, I was able to look back at the past He’d saved me from and see the destruction, hurt, and rubble that He’d pulled me out of. I didn’t want to go back, and now I know that I won’t. He has something bigger than planned for…

My most significant experience in working as a part of team occurred when I was apart of the softball team. Without my teammates I wouldn’t have learned all that I know now about softball today. I was familiar with the softball players. We helped each other improve, whether it was with running, practicing drills, catching, or throwing. We never left a teammate behind. During practices we all ran as a team. During games we also chanted when the batter hit the ball. With out my team I wouldn’t have been as good as a softball player. So to me with teamwork come new friends and wonderful coaches.…
