Describe your growth or lack of growth in your relationship with Christ since this past summer or the last time you worked at camp. Explain what things have helped or hindered your growth.
In some ways I have grown, since camp I feel like I have matured and am able to understand what I read from my Bible and delve deeper into it. I feel like as I grow older and have more experiences I am able to understand things better, and I am also not as afraid to ask questions when I do not understand something. However, I know that I do not spend as much time in The Word and with God as I should. It is something that I am aware of and am working on.
How did you work as a team member? How did you work in situations where responsibilities were delegated?
I believe I worked well as a team. I always tried to work well with the other staffers and to hear everyone’s input and try to make sure people who wanted to say something were able to speak. I enjoyed working with the rest of the staff and I learned how work even better with the other staffers as the summer went on and I learned how the other staffers communicated best, and expressed what they needed help with. For the last two summers I have been a Lifeguard and Assistant Cabin Leader. Though this is a great position it is not the one I felt called to when I was praying about where God wanted me this summer. It was really something I was wrestling with, but after much prayer I feel like God led me to apply as a Cabin Leader. I love spending time with the campers, getting to know them and form relationships with them and getting to see where they are in their walk with God. It is just an amazing thing to see.
