With over 40 percent of Fuqua’s student body comes from outside the U.S., we will provide pro-bono consulting services to companies in their hometown, applying our knowledge we gained in the classroom. I will take advantage of every Wednesday off to facilitate the cross-talks among our students as together we attempt to unravel the mysteries of each country business culture. This initiative will help us foster our consulting skills, even set the footprint in any markets we want to work afterwards. I know it is possible to provide the type of solution I tailored for my undergraduate class for others. I am driven to help people excel in their expertise and create positive change in their communities. I did this by developing and implementing The Arcpro – a small Research Club when I started my major in Undergraduate. We provided the consulting service to Master students first in their thesis, then expanding to some small clients from the network. And FuquaVision is the club I want to engage. Although my love for sketch comedy had existed since I was a kid, it just hit its full stride until I joined Nielsen Vietnam in 2013. The short introductory film with ability to speak animal languages made my colleagues laugh a lot and evaluate it as the best introduction ever. This video helped me easily make acquainted with other new colleagues and stand out. It actually helped me come out of my shy shelf to integrate with the new working environment quickly. At that time I realized video with funny ideas is the best way to make new friends and help people understand you most. So I decided to embark on my adventure in the learning of film making. I have appreciated the healing power of sketch comedy and I hope to bring it to Fuqua. I will hold the challenge so that all newly admitted students must innovatively create their own introduction video. All the film making experiences I have in recent years will allow me to produce the funny clips for the Orientation Day. Imagine. In the orientation day.
