Later that same year the Chamber held its very first Expo Belize outside the grounds of the St. John's College Gymnasium. We will now look at the impacts of the Expo Belize Marketplace. “Over the years the "Expo" evolved into the Expo Belize Marketplace, the largest consumer tradeshow in the country” of Belize (http://www.belize.org/bcci/expo). Some of the social impacts of this event are strengthen of community, sharing of experience, development of employment and business opportunities. Some negative impacts are air pollution, littering and overcrowding.
We will now look at some of the environmental impacts of the Expo Belize Marketplace. Some of the positive environmental impacts of “Expo “are improvements quality to the built environment, improved destination image, increased commercial acidity, skills and capacity building and community togetherness. Some negative impacts are air pollution, litter and waste, vegetation trampling, opportunity, increased traffic, increased noise, and congestion and
