Awake until 3 o’clock or 4 o’clock in the morning doing our IT project, then waking up at around 7 to attend my BSIM class at 8 am. That, sometimes we are awake for 48 hours, eat only once, at around 1:00 in the morning, that would be our breakfast, lunch and dinner for the day. And our only prayer was to have a passing grade of 75 for that project. But, God is so good, he really is. He gave us more than what we asked. Our group was awarded as the Best in Information Technology Project on our graduation day March 25, 2006. Life just seemed too hard, but I know I was not alone with the guidance of our almighty God, the support of my loving family and friends, especially to my mom and dad, you are the inspiration, the staffs of Lorma Colleges, and the person who gave the most powerful force that can be unleashed on this planet, encouragements- the CCSE Dean Eng. Ana-Belen Noble-Nano. Now I see that every difficult experience contributed to a greater understanding of who I am as a person, and where I want to go from here. That’s what today is all about, commencement. Leaving one phase of our lives and moving into another. And even if we know where we are going, the future is still unknown, and that can be scary. But now, I am confident face the challenges because of this school Lorma Colleges, and our department, College of Computer Studies and Engineering the Center of Development for Excellence in IT education in Region I. We move into a world that is new and unfamiliar. We move forward not knowing what lies ahead. And yet we must seize the day. We must move unto the future with courage and determination to make our mark.
