During World War two Hitler set up concentration camps for Jews or other hated groups. In these camps help various torturous experiments. Some reasons why experiments were held was a.) to help the army, b.) to help Germany after the war, and c.) to prove the racial ideas invented by the Nazis. They were even used to test new drugs invented by German companies. The Axis military personnel conducted high altitude experiments using low pressure chambers. They did this to determine the maximum altitude from which crews of damaged aircraft could parachute to safety. Scientist tested immunization compounds for the prevention and treatment of contagious diseases. This included malaria, tuberculosis, typhus,typhoid fever, yellow fever, and infectious

He also did serological experiments on Roma. He started by examining the twins from head to toe. The twins would keep their hair. The twins were dissected and their organs were sent to research facilities. More twins were stripped naked and were x-rayed. Twins were photographed to record hair patterns.Twins would stand,kneel, and bend over for photos and various positions. Some had to stand for hours at a time with their arms over their heads and out in other ways. The very next day they were woken up early in the morning. Male twins were given a urological examination. After 3 weeks they were taken to the dissection room. Some more of his experiments were, that twins were put into hot tubs. The water was so hot that they would stay in them just before they would pass out from the heat. They were then placed on a table and their hair was pulled out. They tried to save the hair root. This procedure was performed multiple times until they were completely bald.
They then received 2- litter enemas. Which caused much pain for the twins. This was performed without any anesthesia. In one test two young men screamed and cried so loud that DR. Mengal ordered them to be gagged. THey were killed not long after this with chloroform to the heart at the same time. Their organs were sent to other research
