determination is arguably the most valuable inspiration from him that we can receive. Wanting to end racial or caste discrimination, he convinced the Indians to live as if they were a part of a democracy, without noting their restrictions such as An Indian is prohibited to walk with a British on the pavement. Gandhi convinced his people and the British with non-violent resistance; hence, he states “In this cause I too am prepared to die, but my friends, there is no cause that I am prepared to kill.” Gandhi received public international attention when in 1896 he returned to India and wrote about his experiences of prejudice in South Africa. Therefore, as a reason of achieving fame, Gandhi could take stronger, persuasive, and more peaceful actions to turn India into one. He always tried to practice what he advocated others even in prison, which can easily be observed when he claims “You can chain me, you can torture me, you can even destroy this body, but you will never imprison my mind. His non-violence and truth could be observed in every situation. Gandhi sacrificed his life for the service of others, without even thinking once about his own precious journey on the stage. If that is not inspirational, then I don’t what is. Mahatma Gandhi has inspired me because of his actions.
Gandhi has inspired me to be the best on my subject of interest or passion. He does it with peace, non-violence and care. He has compassion, and he supports for the people in need. Also, he believes in the truth; meanwhile, he basically fulfils all of the objectives in the ‘UWC’ skills and qualities. For instance, he acted with integrity and respect for self and the dignity of others; he was resilient when in South
Africa; he fought for the rights of Indians while confronting the outrageous obstacles. Nevertheless, he does these actions with incredible peace and like a lion, Gandhi’s selfless dedication to human rights and continuous fight for independence for his country is indeed overwhelmingly inspiring to me
personally.
Over the course of twenty years he was arrested 6 times in South Africa, and seven times in India; however, this didn’t stop him from leading India to independence.
Gandhi never gave up and feared the consequences, because he simply fought endlessly for what he truly believed in. As he once stated, “You must be the change, you wish to see in the world.” Gandhi was known as an international symbol for human rights and his personal dedication to nonviolent resistance left at legacy. Gandhi was: a clear-thinking, a unifying, an authentic, an empowering, and an ethical person who was a tribute to the world and a gift from heaven.
Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi has inspired not just me, but generations thereafter. My message to the public is that nobody can stop you from doing the right thing; God has provided you with this beautiful opportunity to achieve and provide something rather great by the time you are on this jorney. To find the person who can change your life, have a look in the mirror. Take the great-souled one for an example. His life was his message.
