How Did Leonardo Da Vinci Influence The Renaissance

Leonardo da vinci was one of the greatest artists of the renaissance and of the modern age. Leonardo started painting as an apprentice at the age of fourteen to Verrocchio who influenced a great deal of his art. At the age of 20, he qualified as a master in the Guild of St Luke. Later on in life he worked for the Chapel of St Bernard, and Monks of San Donato as far as religious pieces go. He also worked for kings such as Francis I, King of France. His life was elusive and there is not much know about it besides the fact that his father married a 16- year old, who supposedly loved him, and records of him commiting sodamy with two other men.
