Boom, Boom, Boom, is all people during time period of 1939 to 1945. American history is a huge thing for Americans’ to look back on. It helps the people understand what happened during those time periods of America’s life. One of many events that effected Americans was World War 2. World War 2 was classified one of the bloodiest conflicts and the largest war in history. Therefore, during World War 2 many events effected many things. During the time period of World War 2, many people were effected by decision making, fighting in the war, and the effects to the towns. During World World 2 there were many times where leaders would have to make a fast decisions. This effect the leaders because they wanted to make the right decision and not the wrong one for their country. For example, John Stalin was a leader that was good on making a fast decisions. Once the war was over, Americans’ didn’t celebrate long. They started to worry about the effect of peace. During the war factories were change to produce products for the war. So, clothing, shoes, and household were every short around this time period. People began to worry about the soldiers that were coming. The soldiers would have a difficult time coming home because everything was destroyed and they didn’t have many jobs for them to come home to. There was 12 million soldiers coming home and was going to start to look for jobs. During the war, there had been 66 cities bombed. The cities were described as “ wilderness of rubble”. Factories and cities were gutted. The population was starving and it was had to supply the necessities of life (Leavitt).
