Shaping is typically, used to form a behavior one does not yet possess. The game “Hot and Cold” do make good use of shaping if it is implemented consistently. Sometimes this game can be easy and effortless, however at other times it is difficult. This sort of reminds me of teaching the dog to climb a ladder. You have to know when to reinforce and when not too. If no progress is made it sort of push the previous progress made back. Overall, the game “Hot and Cold” could be beneficial in shaping if it is done accordingly.
