Importance Of America's Education System
When it come to our America’s education system I think it’s great because I believe anything is possible, whether you're poor or rich. I agree with President Obama when he states “ Every single one of you has something you're good at. Every single one of you has something to offer. And you have a responsibility to yourself to discover what that is.That's the opportunity an education can provide”. I agree with this because if you don't go to school how will you develop the material and discover what's your talents and skills. Yes, of course not all schools can afford the books and get quality like ours but that’s isn’t an excuse to not achieve your goals. You’ll need an education for basically any career you want to become that's why We have …show more content…
President Obama states “Maybe you could be a good writer maybe even good enough to write a book or articles in newspaper but you might not know until you write a paper for english class. Maybe you could be an innovator or inventor maybe even good enough to come up with the next iphone or a new medicine or vaccine but you might not know it until you do a project for your science class.” I believe this because you can't see something you're good at until you actually do it. Schools is a good opportunity to do that and have a good life.
I also believe that every student should be able to go to college for free. Obama want us to get an education and become something in life for our country and but some students can't afford the money to get that education. maybe he/she can be the next president but it wouldn't happen because he/she can't afford it. That's why i believe getting an education is important, and it should be free when going to college. A student education is important but some students go through poverty and cant get the education they want or need. Every person has something they can offer for this

Have you ever felt like you or your child is not getting a proper education? Are you a student who has below average grades and yet still manages to pass your class? Have you ever wondered why the U.S has gone from 18th in math to 31st? The answer to these questions, and many more that people have been posing is quite simple. Our education has just simply gotten worse. Many people today in society believe our education has gotten worse, though some believe that it is up to standards. I believe that our education has actually gotten worse, because the quality of our education has been going down, our performance has been going down, and our standardized tests are a mess.…

To be an American is like being a child. Children are held back by their mothers, just as Americans are held back by their own government. Our healthcare system is not only extremely expensive, but almost useless, and our educational system doesn't get our kids anywhere. As great as America may seem, our educational system is flawed and our healthcare system is getting us nowhere.…

The current education system strongly presses the case for high schoolers to go to college. Rarely, however, does it explore other options for kids who aren’t college-oriented. While it is true that globalization means high-paying manufacturing jobs are not a major career option in the United States, many skilled trade and technical fields are experiencing a shortage of workers. During his 2011 State of the Union Address, President Barack Obama said, “This can be community college or a four year school, vocational training, or an apprenticeship. But whatever the training may be, every American will need to get more than a high school diploma.” (Source C). While Obama does say every American will need more than a high school diploma, he doesn’t argue that every American needs to go to college. That is because every American doesn’t need to go to college. Plenty of skilled trade jobs pay just as well or even better than some jobs only available to those with degrees. Not all students should go to college because college isn’t the only way to get a good job outside of high…

Paying for community college can be a handful for some. While many can pay for college with financial aid, however a many students argue that they can’t afford to pay off tuition or the cost of books and material because it’s too expensive and they don’t attend community college. This is a serious issue for many people that want to earn a degree in a particular majors. Obama promotes the idea that community college should be free to attend and take class without the burden of paying for tuition or the overwhelming cost that students fear. With that statement gain more of an outcry of students agreeing on the idea and many others opposing of it. In the article by Joanne Jacobs, “As He Promotes It, Some Question Obama’s Free Community College Idea,” she discusses that there are pros and cons to both arguments.…

Should college be free for all? Bernie Sanders thinks so. So did John Adams. “The whole people must take upon themselves the education of the whole people, and must be willing to bear the expense of it,” Adams argued.…

College tuition debts burden graduates well into late life. Student loans can inhibit college graduates from starting the life they worked hard for. Currently, scholarships give underprivileged students the opportunity that wealthy students currently have. In a metaphorical sense, education is priceless. College should be free because young students are affected by debt that affects as a whole.…

I personally don't believe that college should be free. Making it free would only serve to limit the value of the education while filling colleges with students that have no business/need there. College would become nothing more than a 4 year extension of high school if it were free. As things are now, society needs about 25% of the population to have a college degree for the jobs that require one and about 30% of the population has a degree. As a result, you hear from a lot of people that believe that they wasted time getting the degree because it's not serving them as an employment enhancer.…

As I sit in my classroom and look around to each of my peers I hear them talk about how “This is too much work!”, “I hate being in school.”, “I'm dropping out and never coming back!”. I realize how fortunate we are unlike the kids in other countries who don’t even get the opportunity to go to school. For the ones who do get the chance they have to go through great lengths such as walking long distances or they don't have the appliances to handed to them like we do in America. I've decided that my responsibility to America is to ensure that I'm taking advantage of all of my education opportunities to the best of my ability, in anyway that I can.…

College education should be affordable for students who wish to attend, graduate, then a good career. A New York Times article, Carlos Escanilla thought he was one of those people who didn’t think they wouldn’t go to college. But Escanilla’s friend told him that he should apply at the nearest University. So Carlos did apply for college and he loves the education he had received. The New York Times states in paragraph ten that those who attend a four year state school than a Community College is more likely to have more ambition than other students who attend a Community College. Back in January President Obama made a proposal of having Community Colleges being free for two years. Community College shouldn’t be free because there are so many issues and problems that can lead up.…

America has been a world dominating country for decades, but in the later years we've seen a constant fall in the American economy and its future. We live in a highly competitive, global economy, and if our economy is to be strong, we need the best-educated workforce in the world. Education is also essential for personal well-being. We won’t achieve that if, every year, hundreds of thousands of bright young people cannot afford to go to college while millions more leave school deeply in debt. We need to ensure that every young person in this country who wishes to go to college can get the education that he or she desires, without going into debt and regardless of his or her family’s income.…
