Involvement In WWII

Everyone would agree that war is atrocious. Even so, wars are very convoluted and fascinating to examine. War has always been and will always be a part of human life and the growth of every country in the world, no matter which century we lived in. War is either between two or more countries or within the country itself. Some fought to gain independence from the United Kingdom like Afghanistan, Australia, Egypt, India, Israel, Iraq and some other 60 countries, some fought to expand its power like United States, Russia, China, France, Japan, United Kingdom, Germany, and so forth. And some just fought because they were allies to the country at war. No matter what the reason was, war has left a great impact on countless human lives. The World
Germany seeing Russia mobilizing declared war on Russia. France was then drawn opposition to Austria-Hungary and Germany. Then, Germany attacked France through Belgium which causes Britain into war. Then Japan entered to Axis Power in 1940. Nearly after a decade, Italy and the United States enter on the side of the allies. There were several justifications that led to the beginning of WWII. A few of these reasons were the Great Depression, which was one of the main cause for United States to enter the WWII, the Rise of Nationalism, Treaty of Versailles, Fascist Party, Nazi Party, and the emergence of leaders such as Hitler, Mussolini, and Hideki Tojo. Essentially why WWII broke out in Europe was that on September 1, 1939, Germany invaded Poland, which causes Russia, Britain, France, and etc to enter the war. For the United States, the war didn't begin until Japan bombed Pearl Harbor on December 7,
1.7 million soldiers died in Russia and another 5 million were wounded. Even amongst all the dead, there were many people unaccounted for after the war. Approximately 875,000 citizens went missing including soldiers and innocent citizens in Allied Powers; Serbia, France, and Great Britain. While World War II had approximately 52.2 million people died because of the War. In Poland, approximately 6.1 million people died. 6 million of these people were civilians. In many countries, the death tolls took out a countless number of people from the country. Take Yugoslavia for instance. It ended the war with 11 percent fewer people than it began it with. WWII was fought on a much greater scale and there were 7 times more casualties than in WW I. Although the numbers are contrasting, both World Wars had unpleasant effects on the World. In total, Germany and Russia reported that about 30.8 million deaths between the two conflicts. In addition to the casualties, the costs of the wars were eminent. It is estimated that the cost of World War I cost directly about $186 billion and another $151 billion in indirect costs than any previous war in history.
