I. John 9:26-29, “26 Then said they to him again, What did he to thee? how opened he thine eyes? 27 He answered them, I have told you already, and ye did not hear: wherefore would ye hear it again? will ye also be his disciples? 28 Then they reviled him, and said, Thou art his disciple; but we are Moses’ disciples. 29 We know that God spake unto Moses: as for this fellow, we know not from whence he is.” A. The Jews asked the man that was blind again, “What did he to thee? how opened he thine eyes?”
1. The man that was blind was given a second chance to stand up for truth and be put out of the synagogue or deny the truth and keep his synagogue membership.

2 Kings 6:18-22, The Bible records people that were blinded by God and later God open their eyes, but this man is the first person that was born blind and God has healed. II. John 9:34-35, “34 They answered and said unto him, Thou wast altogether born in sins, and dost thou teach us? And they castb him out. 35 Jesus heard that they had cast him out; and when he had found him, he said unto him, Dost thou believe on the Son of God?” A. When the Pharisees could not get the man to agree with them that Jesus was a sinner, they began to put him down with their lack of knowledge.
1. John 9:2-3, “2 And his disciples asked him, saying, Master, who did sin, this man, or his parents, that he was born blind? 3 Jesus answered, Neither hath this man sinned, nor his parents: but that the works of God should be made manifest in him.”
2. Christians still put people down and cast them out today who point out with scripture that their theology does not make

Ps 27:10, “10 When my father and my mother forsake me, then the LORD will take me up.”
4. When Jesus knew that this man had been cast out the house of God, and all had forsaken him for standing up for truth, Jesus went looking for the man and found him.
5. John 9:25, Jesus knew that just because someone said, “one thing I know, that, whereas I was blind, now I see”, does not mean that they believe in the Son of God. 2 B. John 9:36-38, “36 He answered and said, Who is he, Lord, that I might believe on him? 37 And Jesus said unto him, Thou hast both seen him, and it is he that talketh with thee. 38 And he said, Lord, I believe. And he worshipped him.”
1. Jesus had opened this man’s physical eyes, and now Jesus has opened his spiritual eyes to see Him.

John 9:39-41, “39 And Jesus said, For judgment I am come into this world, that they which see not might see; and that they which see might be made blind. 40 And some of the Pharisees which were with him heard these words, and said unto him, Are we blind also? 41 Jesus said unto them, If ye were blind, ye should have no sin: but now ye say, We see; therefore your sin
