Lava beds national monument is a good option for a field trip, it is a good option because it could provide geological and scientific opportunities, would be an exciting experience for students and teachers, and it might get students interested in science. Lava beds national monument is a wide range of caverns beside Yellowstone national park in California. Lava beds national monument consist of over 700 caves, lava flowing tunnels, and places where rock has been eroded away. The money for the trip would be spent wisely because because the trip would give students a chance to learn while outside of school. The time away could give students a break from school related stress such as grades, and allow them to focus more on what they need to improve and how they could do so. If the trip takes away from important study time, or is scheduled on the same day as a test, then the trip or the test could be rescheduled for another time where nothing major is going on.
With this I conclude that Lava beds national monument would be an educational and exciting field trip for school.
