COHESION
A big psychological factor within leading a sports activity is cohesion. In order for individuals to do the best they possibly can within a team environment is to “gel” with others around them. Team cohesion is very difficult for amateurs and professionals in every sport and takes time to build. The first step is to have respect for one another in a team environment, being able to get to know and respect each person in which you will be participating with. Another big factor is as a team sharing a common goal that the whole team can work towards not just physically but also emotionally. Each player within the team must also have dependencies on one another, this is so no one in the team becomes isolated which can cause them not to work at the best of their ability. Another big factor for cohesion is improvement as well as analyzing what could be done better and for improvement how it can be done better.
These factors may be hard to obtain by many players and coaches around the world for example, Manchester city have some of the best players in the world but some of them don’t respect each other, they don’t have dependencies on each other and all in all a lack of unity amongst each other. An example of good cohesion is Manchester united, they respect each other, everyone in the team has their dependencies and they have a very good unity amongst the team.
When maximizing performance of every player within the team, team cohesion is very important and to be winners and champions you must have good team cohesion.

The team also tests one another’s tolerance levels and the team is just starting to form together for them to get to know one another. The second stage is storming; making
