• WBS helps her to organize the event in a proper planned manner
• WBS defines the final face of work, where to begin and how to accomplish all tasks
• WBS tells her how to prioritize work
• WBS would help her to assign responsibilities
• WBS would be able to help determine costs, risks, time and manpower needed
3. Where can Nicolette find additional information to help her develop a WBS for the tournament?
Additional information to assist Nicolette in developing the WBS could be based on past events or the other events planned within the industry.
• By utilizing past events and using WBS as a source, she could avoid some issues which may have occurred in the past and access a ‘best practice’ methodology.
• There is already information to suggest that these kinds of tournaments are held by others clubs in the area. By getting in contact with their project manager from the past tournament, Nicolette could gain some understanding of what to expect in the overall undertaking this project.
