Dental Hygienist is one of the nation’s fastest growing professions. In this profession you must have the ability to work well with other, have patience , widen vocabulary. But most of all be able to speak In public or at public speaking. Becoming a dentist is a great profession for me because I love anything that has to do with teeth and beautiful smiles. Smiles reveal everything you need to know about someone. People who take care of there teeth tend to take care of there health, those who could careless are more likely to be repulsive so to speak. Which is understandable because everyone doesn’t have the funds to afford going to the dentist let alone insurance. Being a great dentist is more then just cleaning teeth and brighten smiles and caring for patients. Its also about being involved with your patients. Putting yourself in the chair. Imaging what they feel and or fear. Showing them and confiding in them that you are there to help them help you. Providing them with care that prevents or treat issues and illnesses. All dentist should have a high level of integrity and a sincere drive to complete the courses and tasks once Dillard 2 they have started it. Dentist most learn and have the knowledge to complete many task through out the day. Dentist perform specific duties throughout the day such as, taking and developing dental radiographs, teaching patients appropriates oral hygiene strategies to maintain good oral health, removing tartar/stains/plaque and so fourth and also performing documentation and office management activities etc.
Dental hygiene is ranked in the top 10 professions in the country. Its is behind surgeon but miles in front of registered
