The day i was told i was going on a holiday of a lifetime was on my 12th birthday, and that was it ,the anticipation was building for 26 months. Every morning i would wake up with the thought of it and realise it so far away until eventually the day came to pack and get ready. The next day we got up early and hoped the taxi would arrive on time to take us to the train station to catch the train to Edinburgh Haymarket and then to Manchester Airport.
We got there on time and the excitement was overwhelming the train journey to manchester was cramped and low on seats but we didn't mind. When we got to manchester we just went to the hotel got ready went out for a meal in manchester and came back to the hotel and slept (well barely). The next morning was a rush, are flight to Stanford International
Airport was a 9:15 and we were on time but in a rush to check-in and get through the airport when we got to the plane we were relieved.
We were on the plane for 9 hours because of turbulence as it was only supposed to take 8 hours. When we were landing my ear nearly popped but just blocked so couldnt hear the
TSA’s officers questions but could hear music that was playing . Once we got out of the airport were so overjoyed it had finally came once we got the hire car ( A big stereo-typical american car) we drove to a supermarket and was so shocked to how big it was even the trolleys were bigger! Once we had got supplies we started driving for another hour to the villa. The first thing we all did was jump into the pool fully-clothed! and then had our first meal (pizza and ice-cream) and then we all got back in the pool . Then bed.
The next day we went to epcot i liked epcot but was shocked to meet someone from school on the other side of the world ,i mean what are the chances but we laughed about it and then went our separate ways. That night we watched the amazing firework display from the british bar and it was amazing
