There are some desirable end-states to achieve during my life. To be more specific, first of all, I value most the satisfaction in my life, next eager to proud of accomplishment and get wealth. As long as achieving them, I am trying to be well-mannered and courteous toward others and care others who need my hand. By doing so, I feel sense of satisfaction in mind. Also, I strive for doing tasks by myself, which makes me feel achieved and help me to become wealthy. Terminal and instrumental value which I pursue in my life have naturally influenced all of my behavior such as communication style, leadership style and etc in organization.
To be specific, when communicating with others, I usually admire them by acknowledging their contribution. Moreover, I tend to be friendly in order to encourage them to speak and make them feel that I am carefully listening to their voices. Also my friendly communication style helps me to handle conflict as I encourage the open sharing of concerns. Then, I try to investigate issues thoroughly to find solutions which fully satisfy both sides, or if it is hard to collaborate it, I usually accommodate both ideas .
However, my friendly communication style doesn’t mean that I always lead others and actively participate in team-building, Actually I am in the third quartile. Moreover, even I always have tried to respect others in communication, I preferred a task-oriented leadership style in organization rather than that of people oriented. This is because I would focus on the job and separate the task from the personal affair, I feel the accomplishment which I pursue in organization by doing allocated tasks to me. Then, I don’t hesitate to give a feedback upward or downward as well as possible for better performance. Therefore, I prefer the mixture of the organic and mechanistic structure where guideline and rules are already set to help me work effectively, also I
