First off, before we get any further into this argument and things are stated, I must make it very clear – I’m a 100% against trying to put any type of force against our right by the Constitution to bear arms. The biggest question I have that pertains to this subject is always “Do people seriously think gun control is going to make any type of positive affect on this country?”
I mean, seriously, think about it. No, I don’t mean think about it in a way that you actually think you have logically reasoning as to how it may work. Not matter how much you try to argue it, there is always going to be a better argument with the fact that the idea of gun control is absolutely ridiculous. Let’s just say that for one whole day, not a single criminal in the United States broke the law. Yes, if that happened, the crime rate would be at an all-time low and every person that wasn’t a criminal would be happy, right? Okay, let’s take a step back into reality. Making stricter background checks, making the laws a lot tougher to break, or just going around and getting every felon off the street – those are all perfectly fine solutions to the shootings, robberies, and murders.. If you could actually do it in the first place. That’s what I think the actual problem is, in all honesty. You want to fix the problem so bad you can taste it, but you aren’t thinking logically therefore the solutions you come up with are ridiculous. So, you want to make stricter background checks? Go for it; more power to you. But, how many felons do you know actually take the time out of their day to attempt a background check, knowing that they’re just going to fail it anyways? If they want a gun that bad, they will find other ways to obtain the firearm. Whether it’s through a private dealer, a family member, or just flat out stealing it from someone else, they’ll do what they want to do. Criminals don’t follow law. It’s illegal to murder people, use weapons for mass
