I think that Peggy Orenstein”s question is great to ask people on social media. I think that they just need to see what they are missing. And the only way is for them to put their phone down and just enjoy things themselves. There is always time for them to express themselves on social media but it doesn't have to be every second of every day.
I think that social media isn’t all bad because it does help us stay connected with loved ones that live far or we don’t always get to see. Social media lets us share our little moments of our life with people all over the world including love ones. For example if your whole family goes on a vacation and you take a picture or a video you can share it with your family. But we also have to check that we are not on our social media all the time.
Social media isn’t a bad or anti social thing we just have to know when enough is enough or when to just cherish the moment and know that we don’t have to share them with everyone else. “The fun of Twitter and, I suspect, its draw for millions of people, is its infinite potential for connection, as well as its opportunity for self-expression”(Orenstein
