It shows that people have a need to categorize everything into groups because if they don’t, the unknown lingers in their minds and they fear it. People fear the unknown and the different, therefore they fear any gender other than the binary. But…

If I were to be accepted into Thomas Dale’s prodigious Program of the Performing Arts, I would be delighted, not only because I would be able to express my passion for the violin but I could also mingle with the numerous amount of others who possess similar interests as mine. It is also one of my objectives to become a professional musician further along in my career path, Thomas Dale would be one step closer to achieving such an arduous path for a profession. Another reason that seems minor, but is actually significant for my choice of striving for the Arts, is making my wonderful teacher and conductor proud. Walking up the drive towards the cottage, Sam thought about just how freakish it would be to be chased by a half-naked, bearded man. That sight seemed fitting to Sam, and enough of a scare to not bother the boys’ mothers. As he hobbled his way towards where the front door should have been, nursing what he thought to be a pulled hamstring, Sam took a moment to reflect on the splattering of eggs. The yellow yokes harshly contrasted the deep blackness of the wood shingles. He found the empty carton cast haphazardly next to the blank spot in the rock border. The Boston boy, having used the last of the eggs, decided to instead throw a rock in an effort to impress his new friends.…

I don’t have small children that I could have taken to the park with the purpose of conducting my observation. The thought of sitting at a park by myself made me a little uneasy and I felt I would look out of place sitting there looking at the children. I conducted my observation in Merced California, at one of the local schools. Every Saturday, soccer games are played at the school drawing large crowds to the games. I sat on the sideline among the spectators and was able to blend in and conduct my observations without raising suspicion. I did not observe the children playing in the soccer games but rather focused my attention on observing children that were not part of any soccer…

We all have to thank our parents for bringing us to life. If your adopted, thank your foster parents for raising you. Without them, you wouldn't be who you are today. We were all born at some point. Shocker, right? When we were born, our parents give us names, and a life. Now, everybody has some story behind their name, or a little something about how something happened when they were born. Maybe it's a broken bone, or some sort of defect. I personally had one injury, but if you want to see what it was, you'll have to keep reading.…
