Animal testing should not occur because what if you were the animal being tested on. Having to deal with chemicals being thrown in your face or eyes to be tested if it irritates you or hurts you because that’s what they do before letting any shampoo brand out or any sprays.
Animal testing is cruel because scientists do many horrible tests on the animals. For instance, they take rabbits to test shampoo and see if their eyes get irritated so the people who use this type of shampoo won’t have to. Another reason against animal testing is we really don’t need to test on animals because this society has changed so much because of technology. We have a lot of technology that can be used instead of testing on living things. Computer models for humans can tell if it’s too toxic to an animal. This computer model does not need to test on animals. Human volunteers can apply to be tested. Some people say animals themselves benefit from the animal testing, which means it is good to test on animals because we get more useful things like animal shots.Actually animal testing may mislead to researchers into ignoring potential cures and treatments because some chemicals that are harmful to animals prove valuable when used by humans.
