Pros And Cons Of Animal Testing
Inhumane can be described as many things, and can be used in many situations, but when animal testing is involved, inhumane is the only word that can describe it. In addition, The article” Cruelty to Animals in Laboratories” Stated “ U.S. law allows animals to be burned, shocked, poisoned, isolated, starved, drowned, addicted to drugs, and brain-damaged.”(Cruelty to animals In Laboratories). But, humans would never do that to other humans, so why would they do it to animals which are claimed to be humans best friends? Exactly, animal testing is inhumane because humans are doing unforgivable things of animal to their “best friends”. So, I believe that animal testing is inhumane and very wasteful to human resources. First of all, animal testing is inhumane and unfair to the animals. Furthermore, “over 100 million animals are abused in laboratories in the us every year” Says Do something.org ( 11 …show more content…
So, if animal testing is causing stress for animals it should not be used because it is making more problems than it is solving. In addition, The odd hours and harmful testing really impacts the animal. But, what affects them most is the bright lights that are constantly on wich make the animals dences of daytime and nighttime off. The reason why this is a problem is because animals were born and raised to be ready to help themselves and use their senses. But, if we are taking their ability to use their senses a way, we are making it hard and stressful on the animal. The reason is because they are supposed to be using their senses and by taking that right away it makes it hard and confusing on the animal, which usually ends in animal testing being very stressful on the animals(Animal Testing: Pro

I agree that animal testing isn’t just where animals are being tortured, because my experience with research has showed that, in very rare cases animals are tortured, it’s very hard for a scientist to get funding for that type of experiment, as well as all the certificates they need to make it happen in the first place.…

In Jack London’s short story, “To Build a Fire”, the setting is more than just a setting. It functions as many different things. Including, creating meaning by expressing the scenery, and by letting the reader become aware of the animal’s thoughts. Characterizing is another way the author used the setting. Weather was the truer antagonist in this story with its temperature and snow-hiding dangers to try and defeat the man. Even with everything against the unnamed man; his ignorance, meaning, and the weather he still keeps going past the point of return.…

Animal testing is bad science. Time and time again animal experiments show that it is wasting lives and resources. “Most animal experiments are not relevant to human health. They do not contribute meaningfully to medical advances and many are undertaken simply out of curiosity” (Animal testing). Animals are not like humans. The way an animal reacts to a certain tests, may not be…

The first reason is that animal testing harms animals. For example, more than 100 million animals die every year due to chemical, drug, and food tests (Animal Testing 101). This is important information because that is a large amount of animals lost every year. Some of these things that people are testing animals on are not even necessary so animals could be dying for no good reason. Also, many animal tests are cruel procedures some include feeding dogs pesticides, forcing mice to inhale toxic fumes, and dripping corrosive liquid into rabbits’ eyes (Animal Testing 101). In addition, rabbit eyes are very sensitive and dripping chemicals in them can cause major damage and pain to the rabbit.…

The first reason why we shouldn’t have animal testing is because animals are getting hurt or abused. “Over 100 million animals are burned, crippled, poisoned, and abused in US labs every year.” The chemicals that the people are using are burning or other worse things to them. The chemicals that they use on the animals could hurt or kill them. Over half of side effects cannot be detected in…

There are a lot of bad things that happen in this world and Animal Testing is one of them. Doctors,Scientists and other people test on these animals everyday. In my opinion there should be no animal testing at all. It is cruel. Right now there are millions of animals sitting in cold cages waiting for their next painful procedure. The stress, sterility and boredom causes them to develop neurotic behaviors such as, biting themselves and running around in circles. Most of these animals are killed after the testing because there is no possible way for them to live after this has happened. More than 100 million animals suffer this torture. Exact numbers have not been found, in rats, mice, birds, and cold blooded animals take up about 90 percent.…

In animal testing, countless animals are experimented on and then killed after their use is up. Some are injured and will still live the remainder of their life in captivity. The doctors will not do anything to help the animals that are in pain that happen to be the reason because of them. It is the aspect of animals testing that many view as a major negative against the practice, as it seems that the animal died in vain because no direct benefit to humans occurred. Even though animals and humans have many things in common like how we both have the same organ system, there are also many things that are different between animals and humans. Many animals cannot handle or take the same medication as humans, most the surgeries that are operated on animals are just too strong for an animal to take so they end up dying or sick for the rest of their lives. Animal testing has always been a big issue around the world. Some people think that it is okay for animals to be tested on while others don’t. What even is animal testing? Animal testing is where scientists find new medications and test them on the animals before humans. Why might scientists test them on animals first? So, that if something goes wrong, only the animal would suffer and not a human. I am a critic for animal testing. I believe that animals have a purpose to the world just as much as humans do. Even if people don’t like rodents, that doesn’t mean we need to try and potentially kill them. Animals are very important to this world just like everyone else.…

Although animal research saves lives, the main opposition to animal testing claims that it is cruel and inhumane. While it may sometimes appear animal testing is cruel and inhumane, studies show however; that in most facilities, animals are cared for and are not treated badly. “Whether an organization is private, non-profit, government based or at a university campus, the rules and regulations all apply to each facility.…

The primary reason why animal testing should cease to exist is because it is inhumane to strip a helpless animal of its rights for the benefit of experimentation and research. "Animals have a basic moral right to respectful treatment . . .. This inherent value is not respected when animals are reduced to being mere tools in a scientific experiment.” (Lonestar) While animals cannot express themselves as humans can, they can feel, think, behave, and experience pain. Their inability to express themselves should not be taken advantage of.…

There are alternatives to animal testing. One way is artificial human skin. It produces better results and is safer. It is made from human cells and is grown in test tubes or plastic wells. It gives better results than animal skin. The skin still shows the reaction to the substance and it isn’t harming anyone or anything. It is a better and safer way to test substances.…

Each year in the United States, an estimated seventy million animals are hurt and killed in the name of science by private institutions, household products and cosmetics companies, government agencies, educational institutions, and scientific centers. Animal testing is wrong and downright mean. Innocent animals should not be treated badly and caused pain for the sake of a human 's safety. Many people think animal testing is good while others think it is wrong. I think it is completely and absolutely wrong. Some people argue that humans are not necessarily superior to animals, so why should animals be experimented on and made to suffer to protect human beings? Do you know what animal testing is, what condition the animals live in, and what some alternatives to testing animals are?…
