In a recent study at Yucaipa High School 98.4% of students would leave campus for lunch if there was an open campus. Students should be able to leave school during their lunch period. Students at schools with open campus are more likely to eat lunch than schools with closed campuses. Open campus help teens be more mature and develop responsibility. Open campus will help the local economy . Students are hungry which can affect their mood and how they work in school.

    Responsibility is heavily enforced anywhere you go, especially in schools, a big part of this is learning to do things on your ow. Having more lunch options can make students think about some of the healthier options or the cheaper priced item if on a budget or a diet. They can also learn how they can make good nutritious a meal with the money they have. The lunch room could have a regular meal, such as a cheeseburger or a chicken sandwich, a salad bar, with just a normal green salad or mix it up and have a daily salad schedule, like a regular salad one day and chicken salad and crackers or bread the next day.
