This paper will identify and describe how two quality management organizations would improve quality management. This paper will also evaluate the effect that participation in these organizations would have on quality performance for an organization.
Identify & Describe
The first quality management organization I have researched and will describe is a national organization known as American society for quality ( ASQ). ASQ is a global community of people that are passionate about quality who use the tools, their ideas, and expertise to make the world work better. The organization advances professional development, credentials, knowledge, information services, membership, and advocacy for individuals and organizational members. Some of the services provided include certification, conference events, world quality months, research, social networking, advocacy, training, and more. The second quality management organization I have researched and will describe is a state organization known as quality management company LLC. They provide independent quality audits for the American institute of steel construction certification programs as well as provide training, education, and resources. Their consultation division uses industry experts to provide assistance to individuals and organizations to help achieve quality goals. Some of the services they provide include training to provide internal audits, supplier audits, assistance in quality company, products, and continuous improvement planning and more. The AISC certification sets the quality standards for the structural steel industry and most widely recognized quality certification program.
Evaluate Effect on Quality Performance
