1.0 Introduction:
Internship in B.B.A Program is a scope of gathering practical knowledge on corporate environment by engaging in an organization for a certain period. In today’s world Human Recourses Management is too much important for every organization. In early days when HR is not fully defined peoples face many problems to manage the employee. As a BBA student with major in Human Resource Management corporate level companies are the most appropriate field to gather the experience about their selection and recruitment process. As a corporate company, Bangla CAT has its own performance management system and it is the dealer of Caterpillar Inc in Bangladesh. Bangla CAT has more than 2500 corporate customer. Within the industrial sector, Bangla CAT is the largest provider of independent power generation solutions in Bangladesh and one of the largest Caterpillar gas engine dealers globally. Bangla CAT has more than 2500 corporate customers. It is clear that to know about effectiveness of recruitment and selection process Bangla Cat is the most prominent place.

1.1 Origin of the report
This report has been done as per the requirement of the Internship program for three month for the fulfillment of the curriculum of the BBA Program of the Institute of Eastern University. Acquiring practical work experience was the primary objective of this report. For the completion of this internship program, the placement was in a corporate company namely, “Bangla CAT”. As the supervisor of the Internee Tasnuva Rahman, Assistant Professor of Business Administration, Eastern University, has been assigned. The chosen topic for the report is “Measuring the Effectiveness of Recruitment and Selection Process of Bangla CAT Ltd”.

1.2 Problem statement and Rationale of the Study
