Reflective Essay For College

Ever since I moved into the United States at a very young age of nine years old, I learned from the get go that I have to work extremely hard in school and extra curricular activities. In my freshman year of high school, till my second year of college, I have been involved in numerous activities. I have found that as my life gets busier, which forces me to become more organized, and my tasks are completed more efficiently.
In my freshman year of high school, I was heavily involved in sports and extracurricular activities. I participated in high school soccer in the fall and I was one out of only two freshmen to play on the Junior varsity team and I also played club soccer in the summer as well as volunteered for my church throughout the year. I maintained a 3.0 grade point average, throughout the year and participated in a district science fair project. I also got my first job, which allowed me to work for my own money and also showed me how to be a valuable team member.

I also participated in many extra curricular activities in college. I became a member of Phi Theta Kappa as well as being an honors student. When I became a member of Phi Theta Kappa, I wanted to be a leader so I was elected vice president of communication of my chapter and I was in charge of sending out emails and promoting our chapter to other members. After two semesters of being vice president of communication, I wanted to change roles so I became the vice president of service. As the vice president of service I am in charge of keeping track of all the members points and as keeping track of all of the active members.
