SWOT Analysis: Into The Woods
Into the Woods
Campaign Strategies Justification
Nahian Khan When beginning my marketing plan the first thing that I needed to do was to get inspiration for how I would market and what would be the most unique, original ways to market League High Schools Spring production of Into the Woods. For my inspiration board I chose some set designs, some previous Into the Woods posters and Stencils. It was crucial for me to chose set designs to inspire me, although I did think the set design would inspire my marketing plan the least because I am not doing set design, because the set designs allowed me to choose the color scheme for my poster. The lettering on my poster was also mainly inspired by the fairytale type of lettering, at first I did want

One of the speciality items was a meet & greet with the cast of Into the Woods, although this would be a preferred event with a-list celebrities, I did believe this would draw attention to the play and we would give it a theme making it an event no one wanted to miss. When attending the event they would then hear about the show all-night and ultimately gain interest in seeing the show. Another speciality item that I thought would provide sufficient marketing was water bottle labels for the show;the water bottles would have a custom label with a similar design to the poster for the show. We would distribute these water bottles several different ways, we could give them out during practice for our cast members to distribute in a casual manner or we could replace the water bottles in the school vending machines with the Into the Woods labeled water bottles. The marketing plan for the Spring production of Into the Woods at League High School, is mainly based on spreading the message with social media and also verbally. We will try to get as many people involved as possible because the more involved you become with an organization or production the more likely you are to attend the event you helped plan. The organization that I have chosen to do my SWOT analysis on is the New Orleans Saints football team. They are among the most successful teams of this decade but not ranked very high as far as most lucrative organizations in the National Football League. They are currently ranked 23rd among the 30 active teams in the national football league. The organization was formed and became a professional football team in 1967. The team got its nickname due to its founding being on All Saints Day on November 1, 1967. The team initially one of the weaker franchises in the league. It didn’t win many games and struggled to sell out games. They have won one Super Bowl title, 5 Division Championships, and made only 9 playoff appearances in its 46 year existence. The ultimate goal of this organization is to win football games and generate revenue by selling tickets and merchandise.…

“Images have cognitive, emotional, and behavioral effects on audiences (pg. 242).” For example, if we like something and we hear or see something positive about it, it confirms the image we have in our heads. I believe a poster design is the best way to advertise the Company. “Posters provide a logical and cost-effective way of communicating to a particular target market. When placed correctly, attractive posters can lure nearby people into a specific event and alert them of an upcoming product or service (Tolliday).” I want to introduce the design for PlayNow. A poster/flyer that I will have duplicated, laminated and wrapped in other necessary coverings. The poster has plain white background with the PlayNow logo centered with big black letters. Under the play now logo is a smaller variation of the mission statement in place for the company. Beneath the mission statement we see visual images. The visual images are in place for emotional appeal. “If the image of source is realistic, we form an emotional connection to the object (Pg. 243).” Message composition involves composing a single theme or message for the audience to consider. “PlayNow” is the organization message intended to reach the public to persuade viewers to move and be active. It is the first thing that catches your eye on the poster…

This report analyses the Botanic to Bridge fun run, a local fundraising event in the city of Gladstone. This analysis will help highlight the inner workings of local events and how they are implemented. Both the Communications and Media Specialist and the Communications and Public Relations Manager for the event were contacted, with both supplying great amounts of information about the event, including the logistics of the event, the use of an Event Management Plan to minimise associated risks and the staffing requirements. It was found however that due to the regulations of the Gladstone Ports Corporation, no information could be given on the budgetary requirements, leaving a gap in the analysis of this event. Although no budget could be given, information was found on how the event is funded, with a huge importance put on sponsors. The elements of the Promotions Mix used throughout the promotion of the Botanic to Bridge are also analysed, as well as the successfulness of such advertisements. Lastly, suggestions are made as to how event organisers could improve the event, such as a greater focus on entertainment for the children involved.…

A successful marketing mix for the High School Musical, film series would be using the four Ps of marketing which includes price, product, place and promotion. Keeping the price aside because there is basically no price for a television film which the consumers have to pay directly, the other three are vital elements of a film marketing campaign. It is possible to add in publicity to a film marketing campaign although this is technically a part of promotion which is not the direct result of a financial deal made by the studio.…

In the Summer, a majority of the events that go on are camps. There are the camps that the Superdome holds, and then there are Sports camps that outside parties hold. For example, this week there is Lacrosse camp, the Superdome’s camp, and World Class Soccer camp all taking place in the Superdome. However, in the Fall, there are many more events that go on throughout the day. There are rentals from outside sports such as Field Hockey, Soccer, Football, Baseball, Lacrosse, as well as the Superdomes house programs that consist of Soccer training and introductory classes to different sports. All of these programs will begin after I begin school, however, in order for them to be successful we need to start marketing for them in August. We discussed when we would send out emails, how often we will do mailers, and how we can bring in new…
