School Spirit Research Paper
School spirit is what can make or break a school. Who wouldn’t want to go to a school that gets excited about all the things their school does? Everybody wants to go to the school that is excited about their sports and their theatre and their preforming arts and their academics and their clubs. Everybody wants to go to the school that has hype Friday night games. Blue Valley West is one of the best schools about school spirit and school pride. People get excited about the football games even when it’s raining and the losing record is higher than their winning record. Even though it’s true that we attend a school that has a lot of pride and enthusiastic fans, we can still get better at our school spirit. We can do this by, attending other sports

One example is the class competitions we have at our assemblies. Even though these competitions divide us by our grade, we all chant the same things and then together the people that attend the football games can chant the same cheer for the boys on the field. If more people attended football games the student section would be crazy and loud, even on away games. Another example of school spirit or school pride is the amount of people that attend sporting events. This amount is awesome as it is, but if we had more, we could be louder and look almost scary as a student body together. Something that could also help is if some of the athletes went to other athlete’s games, then they could influence their whole team to come too, and that would influence much more people going to more games besides the football games and basketball games which everyone goes to anyway. The third thing that is school spirit and school pride is all the families of alums or have older siblings that attend west and all the teachers that teach at BVW, who also went to school here. This is school spirit or school pride because it shows that through all the memories and stairs of Blue Valley West they loved it enough to continue experiencing it. These are just some of the ways we could increase school spirit and school
