In a recent survey of two hundred schools nationwide, eighty-six percent of them said that the majority of students and faculty have plans over the summer. In addition, nobody wants to stay in one place when they could be traveling. Additionally, summer is usually a time of rest and relaxation before the next school year starts. There are also many activities that people enjoy during this time. Finally, this program would quickly overload students with work. With extra classes, the students involved in this program would find themselves quickly receiving more work than they could possibly accomplish. This would lead to lower grades, which means being dropped from the program. Even if they stayed up late to do the work, it would lead to the student becoming tired during school, which would also lead to being kicked out of the program. Not only that, but colleges would notice this and not offer scholarships to these students. In conclusion, this program should be stopped because students would not have electives, people have plans during the summer, and would quickly overload students with work. I do not think that students would like this program if they cannot receive adequate amount of sleep or enjoy themselves over the summer. The program would be shut down quickly due to a lack of participants. I believe that all would be happier without this program. If we join together, we can eliminate this
