Should Animal Testing Be Allowed
Over the years, animal testing has helped scientists create new medicines and vaccines. However, it has been proven that “92 out of every 100 drugs that pass animal tests fail in humans” (PETA). Animal testing is not okay and should be stopped. Animals deserve rights, the tests are usually very harmful to the animal, and animals are dying and being abused for unnecessary reasons.

Animals deserve rights. Animals can not speak up for themselves. We need to be their voice because they can not communicate with us to tell us to stop the abuse. Their way of trying to communicate with us is very difficult to understand, and most of the time we don’t even realize it. Some believe they do not have emotions because their way of communicating is so different than ours. Animals definitely have emotions, and they may come across dangerous at times, but that is because they do not know that we do not understand. That is why speaking up when you see someone abusing an animal is so crucial today.

The tests can be very harmful to the animals. Anywhere you look it will all be the same, animal testing is abuse. According to the PETA,”poisoning, shocking, burning, and killing animals is all in a day's work for vivisectors.” The tests they do on these amazing

Sometimes animal testing is for a new drug or vaccine, but other times it is for a new mascara. The members of the PETA say that,”the world doesn’t need another eyeliner, hand soap, food ingredient, drug for erectile dysfunction, or pesticide so badly that it should come at the expense of animals’ lives.” Sometimes dogs are even forced to smoke to prove it is unhealthy, which is very unnecessary. We all know it is unhealthy and we have had multiple tests done, so why do we still let thousands of dogs die for something we already know? Animals are living things, they are not science experiments. Animal testing is a very unnecessary thing that we can live

Though animal testing should be banned from ever being practiced or used again, people still view it as a necessity despite all of the evidence against it. Animal testing requires inhumane, unsanitary, unsafe, or cruel conditions that if done to humans would be outlawed since they either reduce the quality of life or cause disease or death. Seeing that animals are living, breathing creatures that want to survive just as much as people do, assuming that test conditions are not good for human kind, then they are not good for any living creatures. Furthermore, they are inherently wrong by nature. Tolerating animal cruelty promotes the same insensitivity that allows cruelty to people, such as serial killers and the early incidents of animal torture.…

An estimated 26 million animals are used every year in the United States fir various types of testing. These animals are used for scientific and commercial testing to develop medical treatments, determine toxicity of medications and chemicals, check the safety of products destined for human use and other biomedical or healthcare purposes. There are a lot of bad things that happen in this world and Animal Testing is one of them. Doctors,Scientists and other people test on these animals everyday. In my opinion there should be no animal testing at all. It is cruel. Right now there are millions of animals sitting in cold cages waiting for their next painful procedure. The stress, sterility and boredom causes them to develop neurotic behaviors such as, biting themselves and running around in circles. Most of these animals are killed after the testing because there is no possible way for them to live after this has happened. More than 100 million animals suffer this torture. Exact numbers have not been found, in rats, mice, birds, and cold blooded animals take up about 90 percent.…

Animal testing has always been a dispute between people; some people think it’s morally wrong and some people think it helps with medical and scientific breakthroughs. Drugs that people use or cosmetics that are used could have been tested through animals before being stocked on shelves. About 800 animals are tested on before a drug is passed to clinical trials (“Is animal”). Many animals get tested on, but many like mice, rabbits, hamsters, monkeys, dogs, cats, pigs, and some other animals get tested on. Animals can be used to find new advances in medical treatment and check safety for products, but these animals that get tested on can go through pain and death. Animal testing is wrong and should be stopped because…

In recent years there has been a debate over whether we as a society should continue testing on animals. It seems for many this topic has quite a moral grey area. Some see it as something that is necessary in order for scientific research. Many of our scientific achievements of the last century have involved animal testing in some way. Others however see it as something that is wrong and unethical and feel like it should be abolished. Organizations such as PETA have developed, arguing that animals should have the same rights as humans. Many organizations have been developed to defend both sides of the argument. I however believe, that there is no question that animal testing must be legal.…
